We had a lot of bad things happen on Christmas day this year.  We all started out feeling excited but soon had things change.  Stephanie was waiting for a miscarriage to happen and it did.  Right on Christmas day.  We were opening gifts on Christmas morning and John tried to open a tie wrap off of one of Savannah's gifts and cut his finger.  Off to the ER  for stitches.  We finally got that taken care of and wanted to get John's iPad open before the family party since my brother and sister were given my husband a cover for his iPad.   So we enjoyed the time with the family and then Steph went to the ER because she was having so much pain.  They had to give her some medicine and harvest blood clots.  Grandpa and I brought Savannah home with us.  Dave and Steph didn't get home from the hospital until after midnight.  But she was feeling a lot less pain after that.  I am very grateful for modern medicine and the knowledge that doctors have to help us.
